PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell and/or compromise your private personal information.  We highly value your trust and your security by ensuring that only authorized individuals can access your information.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by FIRheat will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

This privacy policy describes the ways we collect, store, use and protect your personal information. You accepted this policy when you placed an order, subscribed to our newsletter or filled out the sign-up form.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you are asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

2. WHAT DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

A. To improve customer service – Obtaining your information is our gateway in providing our customers with the best service. We can notify you easily if there are changes or updates regarding our warranty, repair and other services.

B. To process transactions - Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

C. To send periodic emails - The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.

If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

3. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your account.

We offer the use of a secured dedicated server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Secure Shell (SSH) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

4. DO WE USE COOKIES?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enable the sites to recognize your browser to capture and remember certain information, like your username, preferences, and password.

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and save your preferences for future visits. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone or by contacting customer service.

5. DO WE DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION TO OUTSIDE PARTIES?

We do not sell, trade, or transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.

6. CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE

Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003. Therefore, we will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

7. CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) meaning we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to individuals of more than 13 years of age.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

10. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Firheat will provide you with a notice 30 days prior to the change. We strongly recommend all customers to visit our site regularly to avoid overseeing changes.

For questions, comments and other inquiries about the FIRheat Privacy Policy, you may contact us through phone and email, and we’re also available on chat support during our regular business hours (M-F 9-6 PST).

 

RETURN POLICY

Returning an Item

A customer has 30 days from the date of shipment to return or exchange an item. After this period, all sales are final and all items are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty.  

 

To Qualify for a Return

Returned items must be in new, unused and sellable condition in the original manufacturer’s packaging.  It should include all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit. 

FIRheat is not obliged to accept returned items in soiled and damaged condition with missing parts. 

All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping costs. Items returned but not in compliance with this return policy may be returned to you at your expense.

In some special cases a RMA may be issued on an item that does not fully meet the return policy criteria. In this event we reserve the right to issue a partial refund to cover administrative costs associated with that return. 

 

Basic Steps to Return an Item

  1. Contact FIRheat customer service and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by email or phone.  Return shipments without an RMA number will not be accepted.
  2. Our Customer Service Department will send you an email containing the RMA form and detailed return instructions. Print this form and include it in the package with a note briefly stating the problem, your contact information and return address (no P.O. boxes).
  3. Include a copy of your Sales Receipt (proof of warranty).
  4. Mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  5. Once we receive it, the returned item(s) will be inspected and a FIRheat Customer Service Representative will get in touch with you through email or phone. 
  6. FIRheat reserves the right to repair or replace and/or refund the cost of the item(s) covered by the One Year Limited Warranty and Return Policy at our discretion. Please allow up to 4 weeks for completion.
  7. If the item is no longer covered by the warranty or the damage is caused by user error, our Customer Service Representative will contact you regarding the cost of repair or upgrade.
