Far Infrared Rays used in Ancient Civilization

Recently, scientists have come to the conclusion that there is a great similarity between the need of both humans and plants to utilize sunlight. Plants depend on sunlight for food production also known as photosynthesis but recent studies have shown that the level of dependence that plants have on sunlight is greatly similar in terms of concept to human needs.

How is this so? The Earth absorbs radiation from the sun. It then returns a lot of the energy in the form of infrared back to the atmosphere. This whole process generates beneficial warming called “the greenhouse effect.” This is important because if not for the greenhouse effect, humans would not have been able to survive, not only that, all living creatures would not have been able to survive. The greenhouse effect provides a warm atmosphere for the Earth. If not for it, the ecosystem would have tipped off the balance and all living creatures including crops would be destroyed.

For centuries, sunlight has been used for healing. The human body as well as the sun, continuously emits Far Infrared Rays.  Ancient Civilization has long been using this heat amongst people. Chinese healers and Yogis in India use what is so called palm healing. Using the heat from the bodies, infrared rays are passed from one person to another. Placed in a more recognizable modern term, this ancient practice of palm healing would be commonly called Energy Healing. Other names would be Reiki, Chi Healing or Oi Oong.

The foundation upon which Bio-Mat technology is built on can be traced to Amethyst Quartz Crystals which emit Far Infrared rays naturally. There are more than a couple of ways that thermal energy has been used in ancient civilization. Palm healing is just one of them. One should not make the mistake of assuming that only in places like China and India are Far Infrared Rays used in healing.

Far Infrared Rays is considered as old as nature itself. Which is why it is no longer surprising that ancient civilizations already use it. The term may sound modern but even before the studies formally laid this out in the open, humans and other living creatures have been getting a daily dose of infrared from sunlight. One of the benefits of infrared heat is connected to the muscles of the body. Not only does it have a beneficial effect to the muscles, it also helps boost immunity of blood vessels, nerves and lymph glands.

The infrared heat treatment bolsters the function of our cells. It increases and promotes healthy circulation of the blood and helps relieves certain symptoms such as backache, neuralgia and pain from arthritis. It is no wonder that Far Infrared Rays are being used even in ancient civilization. The benefits are just too great. Whether it is used to eliminate toxins from our blood or controlling and maintaining balance of blood sugar and blood pressure, Far Infrared Rays used as treatment remained to be popular and will continue to display its beneficial functions to the human body.

Helpful Information on Frozen Shoulder Syndrome

Frozen Shoulder Syndrome or FSS is a debilitating and extremely painful condition affecting the shoulders. It induces harrowing pain and limits arm movement for an indeterminate amount of time, affecting all aspects of life. Understanding FSS can help you manage painful shoulders and prevent the development of more complications.

Here are the basics of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome to help you cope and recover:

1. The medical term for FSS is Adhesive Capsulitis.

2. FSS is caused by too much or too little shoulder activity. Rest is good for your tired muscles to recover but when the shoulder has been inactive for an extended period of time, it is more susceptible to swelling and numbness. Too much undue stress on your shoulder will also make your muscles sore and stiff afterwards. Stretch before doing any exercises or after long hours of inactivity to prevent buildup of tension and muscle strains.

3. FSS symptoms have three phases: the painful stage when extreme pain is felt, the frozen stage when the shoulder joint numbs and the thawing stage where the range of motion gradually improves. How long each stage lasts depends on the extent of damage and the type of intervention you apply. It’s worth your while to find out which methods will get you through these stages quicker and safer.

4. A person with a severe case of FSS has difficulty performing simple tasks like brushing hair, putting on clothes and reaching for high shelves.

5. If left untreated, FSS can lead to persistent pain and stiffness despite therapy.

6. Trauma, injuries and other risk factors can cause FSS. It can also be triggered by unknown causes.

7. Far Infrared Ray (FIR) heat therapy is the most recommended form of FSS relief for its efficacy with no side effects. The penetrating heat reaches deep into strained muscles, and stimulates more blood flow into the area to speed up the body’s healing process.

8. FSS is rare among younger individuals and is more prevalent among people over 40 years of age. Women are at more risk of getting FSS than men.

9. Diabetics are slightly more at risk of getting FSS.

10. Working with a therapist who can provide a set of beneficial exercises is usually the first measure for long term recovery. Exercises can reduce the amount of pain and strengthen the immune system.

If you suffer from chronic shoulder pain, it is best to seek medical advice. But feel free to check out our shoulder wrap and discuss your pain relief options with your doctor.

The Relax the Back Convention was truly a rewarding experience.  To address the growing pain epidemic, Relax the Back provides a wide variety of products for back and neck pain relief.  They hold conventions in different places in the United States to efficiently showcase these products as well as educate customers on how to properly use them.  Associates are available to answer questions of customers as well as suggest the perfect neck or back pain relief product depending on the condition or injury of each person.

A convention was held in Houston, Texas last May and it was a huge success.  All sorts of product for back and neck pain relief were available – from bed mattresses, office chairs and therapy items to get rid of pain.  There were massagers, ergonomically back friendly chairs that give proper support to the spine and lumbar area without being too stiff, mattresses that are medium – firm and offers the perfect balance of firmness and support.

FIRheat, the leading innovator of Far Infrared Ray Technology took part in the convention.  A booth was set up filled with collaterals and product samples to clearly explain to customers what Far Infrared Rays are, how it is safe, all natural with no side effects; and why it is more effective for back pain relief than conventional heat pads or hot packs.  There were therapy wraps available so they can experience the soothing warmth and gentle heat only Far Infrared Rays can offer for themselves.

Because of the product quality and effectiveness, 99 percent of those who visited the FIRheat booth loved what we have to offer.  They said that the “timing was perfect” because back pain is the major reason for doctor visits and that the product is “superior in all fronts”.  FIRheat’s Far Infrared Ray heat emitting wraps are safe and effective for back pain relief.  Its ease of use and convenience makes it highly recommendable for people with a hectic lifestyle – truly a perfect way to relax the back.

Are you one of those millions of people who experience neck and shoulder pains which make simple everyday tasks seem so daunting?  Well then, you are amongst the many individuals suffering from this discomfort. There are a number of possible causes for this ailment and I am sure that the reason you are reading this article is to find ways and means to prevent and / or treat this.

There are many ways to relieve and reduce pain in our neck and shoulders but before I get into that, let me just point out the common cause of neck and shoulder discomforts – Structural Stress. Structural stress or bad posture is caused by chronic slouching. If you do this on a regular basis, this may result to chronic structural stress. Holding shoulders at an elevated position for a long period of time can cause tension which results to pain in the neck and shoulder areas. Another would be holding a phone on your shoulders for a long time which causes cramps and places our shoulders in a “defensive” position that also strains our neck. Stress also contributes greatly. Have you noticed that whenever you are stressed, your shoulders come into close contact to your ears which cause tension our neck and shoulder area?

Reduce Pain

One way for you to experience relief would be to relax the muscles. Some pain relievers may include applying heat therapy, getting massages and doing some stretching exercises. By improving your overall posture and keeping your body in a straighter position helps in easing the tension in your neck and shoulders. Exercises that I highly recommend include Pilates which improves your posture in addition to strengthening your core.

If you are currently suffering from an extremely tensed shoulder muscles, getting a massage might hurt so I recommend that you try some heat-base products like a hot compress or a neck wrap which will help soothe some of the aches and pains due to whiplash, muscle tensions, headaches, herniated disc and pinched nerves. The heat will help ease the pain which will make the massage feel much better.
Pain relief can be achieved through these methods, however if you constantly experience these aches on a regular basis and if the pain that you are experiencing is excruciating, I suggest you also consult with your physician for further examination.
